Unfriending on Facebook
My vent for the day, week, month!
UNFRIENDING on Facebook has become so juvenile. Who cares? I sure don't. I mean really ?? It's JUST Facebook lol. How many of your friends have you actually met in person? Some will say, "Oh, I know everyone of my friends on Facebook" Do you really? I bet you really don't.
Remember when it was "cool" to have lot's of friends on Facebook? Nowadays it's become so scary to have strangers. I don't know all of my friends either but, I have learned to weed out the really perverted ones. You know, the ones that start creeping & liking way too much and then start sending messages every day, asking: "How was your Day?" "Oh, your (Yes, with the misspelled words) so pretty", "I'd like to know you more". I mean really dude, can't you read? It clearly states I am in a relationship. I post pictures of myself and my honey all of the time. Geez, creep, look at my profile picture!
Ok, well anyways, back to my original topic of Facebook unfriending becoming so juvenile. They actually think they are getting back at you or "teaching you a lesson" by unfriending. It usually just makes me laugh because it's literally so stupid. You know you're going to call me tomorrow anyway (If you're truly a friend) Friends are different than acquaintances by the way. Oh, let's not forget the "BLOCK:" button. Oh, I'm so afraid! (NOT) If you feel the need to do all of that, then I honestly didn't need you on my friends list because clearly you are NOT my friend :).. I just smile through it and move on, it's another day in paradise.
In writing this, I am in no means trying to offend anyone, I'm just stating my feelings and corny thoughts on this. If you can not find humor in things, then "God bless your little heart" (Truly).
Some days are tougher than others in this crazy little thing called life and I get that! So we need to smile more through all the BS life throws at us. AND... one of course, to me, is people acting juvenile and thinking Facebook Unfriending is a weapon to be used against someone. Quit being a Bully, Quit being a miserable person and move on. Good riddance :)
I'm not even touching the topic of family.... nope, not even going there. Nope, Nada, no Bueno. Some family members are better left OFF your friends list anyway. But, come on children. If your Mother wants to be your friend, then accept her, add her. Oops, I said I wasn't going there. (Of course, I am talking about grown children) If your children are under age, you better believe their parents belong on their friends list :)
Ok. I've blogged my crazy little thoughts for a few days. Here's a little article I friend shared with me today. (Food for thought)
